Our Mission
REDEFINING LAST-MILE DELIVERY
At Telebotics, we're on a mission to transform urban logistics through autonomous technology that addresses the industry's most pressing challenges.
THE PROBLEM
The final mile of delivery represents over 50% of total logistics costs, while driver shortages and urban congestion continue to worsen. Meanwhile, emissions regulations are pushing companies toward sustainable solutions.
OUR SOLUTION
We equip existing electric vehicles with modular autonomy kits that scale from remote assistance to full autonomy, enabling businesses to adapt at their own pace while dramatically reducing delivery costs and environmental impact.
OUR VISION
A future where autonomous delivery vehicles seamlessly navigate urban environments, making cities more livable, commerce more efficient, and transportation more sustainable.
Technology Approach
SMARTER INTEGRATION
Rather than building vehicles from scratch, we develop modular autonomy kits that transform existing electric vehicles into efficient delivery platforms.
PROGRESSIVE ADOPTION
Our technology allows businesses to start with basic remote assistance (Level 1) and advance to higher levels of autonomy as operations and regulations permit.
PARTNERSHIP-DRIVEN
We collaborate with local hardware manufacturers, focusing our expertise on developing the software brain, sensors, and compute systems that make autonomous delivery possible.
SAFETY AT THE CORE
Our multi-layered safety architecture includes redundant systems, comprehensive testing, and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure secure operation at all autonomy levels.
Our Story
ENGINEERING A NEW PATH
Our co-founders’ collaboration began as engineering students in the early 2000s. In 2006, they created their first venture together—developing a modular platform for commercial vehicles that later merged with a local OEM in 2010.
Their careers evolved in complementary directions: Mohammad earned his Ph.D. in engineering, specializing in advanced control systems, while Omid built expertise commercializing cargo and passenger vehicles and navigating regulatory frameworks across global markets.
"Throughout our careers, we witnessed the massive inefficiencies in urban transportation," says Mohammad. "The last-mile delivery sector in North America alone represents a $50+ billion market that is ready for transformation."
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY
In 2022, Mohammad and Omid reunited to start Telebotics. As co-founders, we have established strategic research partnerships across North America. Our collaborations with universities like National University in San Francisco(USA) and York University in Toronto(Canada) focus on finding the optimal hardware matches and integration solutions for our systems.
We use our in-house software and sensor stack while partnering with the best local hardware manufacturers to develop comprehensive transportation solutions. "We're creating a practical pathway to autonomy," explains Omid. "Our approach combines immediate operational benefits with a clear roadmap to full autonomy, all while building the talent ecosystem needed for long-term success."
This commitment to ecosystem development is evident in our ongoing training programs for computer science and engineering students from top Canadian universities. In 2024 alone, we prepared more than 10 students for careers in autonomous technology. We are dedicated to enhancing Canadian competitiveness in this rapidly growing field while addressing the critical challenges of urban logistics across North America.
